Emachines EL1300G-02w

I have this emachines EL1300g-02w pc I am trying to flash the bios on, not sure what the issue is, but I've tried downloading the bios from emachines and the installer keeps saying that the bios i am trying to install isn't the right one. Anyone have the right bios or one I can put on it to fix it?? My grandmother hates her new pc, so I am trying to fix her old one, so far with no luck. Something happened that I had to redo the OS, tried the restore disks only to find out they no longer work.... so I put Win XP on it from a disk I have and then Win 7, but there's definatly something wrong with the bios system.. Ok, I REALLY need this pc FIXED. It's NOT mine and the restore disks do NOT WORK. Why can I NOT do updates to the BIOS from Emachines website?? I don't understand why there isn't anyone responding, or are these forums dead or something???
