Emachines el1300g gfx
#1
Hi everyone. I was hoping to get this accomplished without having to ask for help, especially since I've never posted here and haven't offered any assistance myself, but I'm stuck in a situation that could brick my computer and was hoping on some input. This answer may help others too in my situation.

I've upgraded his onboard graphics to an nvidia 610gt only to find that there is no option to disable the onboard graphics, and the only way to get Windows to display correctly (remove artifacts) is to install a driver from nvidia that supports both the 6150 integrated and the 610gt (aka the latest 6150 driver). *** The artifacts will persist if you try to simply disable the card in device manager and use a 610gt driver without the 6150 support ***

I beleive that I may have found a solution that will disable the onboard graphics allowing me to update to the latest driver (and therefore allow a Windows 10 installation). My idea is to use the CBROM.exe file to remove the vga orom from the bios binary file. My question is will the integrated graphics still be detected by the OS if I do this, or will this prevent the device from initializing as I hope it will? Will no vga initialize including the 610 that I installed if I do this?

Thanks for any help.
