Gigabyte Aorus X7 DT V7 having issues after BIOS update

My SKU was previously identified as X7Y7 in the BIOS. When I updated the BIOS using their drivers updater app installed a BIOS update that was supposed to be installed on X7X7 SKU. Fortunately the laptop boots and and runs fine but since the two SKUs differ in graphics card and as such gtx 1080 on X7Y7 and gtx 1070 on X7X7 (at least that's as much as I know) and therefore the SUBSYS_ID on my gtx 1080 is changed to that of a 1070 preventing me from insalling nvidia drivers. I only realized much later on that they release the exact same BIOS for multiple SKUs after spending countless hours through forums and finally start using AMIBCP tool to look through the flashable images for both the X7Y7 and  X7Y7 which is the exact same. Please help me fix this and thank you in advance for your effort.
