Hi, I need help with adding a new WiFi n card to my HP DV2602CA laptop. Tried to do it myself, but after everything seems to go OK and created my new bios, just bricks my laptop (did it twice already), luckily I have a USB-Floppy drive. Smile.
Tried to flash both ways ( Windows and DOS, makes no difference).

@ c0rrupts3ct0r

The protection scheme of this bios is different, much more complicated. i've never seen before, thought by patching the place where the card is detected will be enough. I have now to figure out in wich module is the second step of protection.
Can you give the EXACT error message concerning the missing card, that may help me to find the module.
regards

let me know
