HP Envy 6-1040ca MB 689157-001 QAU51 U03 - Bios and EC flash

Hi guys,

I'm new in the forum and i wish i could've found the solution without bother anyone.


I have an HP Envy 6-1040ca Sleekbook that is bricked due to bad bios update, so i was going to re-flash it using a rpi. The sad part is that i was trying to extract the EC dump and i did but right after i did the mistake of erase it and overwrite the dump file. So now of course the laptop has no signal of anything( no charging light, no power, no lights, nothing). And i was wondering if someone would have the EC.rom or a dump file that i could use.
The ec flash chip is a MX 25L2006E and the dump file had 256 kbytes.
I did find some links for some similar models of motherboard in a website called bios-downloads.com but its paid and i don't know if they are for real or scam.

Hello!
At first, we are not bios database and not keep bioses.
However, i can support and help premium users after bad flash and incorrect changes.
I can restore original ME firmware after flashing another bios dump, recovery procedure such as split full dump to content of existed bios chips, also i have access to big databases of bioses (for using after bad flash by premium users only).
You should consider our forum as last instance if you didnt found any solution for you trouble.
