HP Bios serial number is incorrect, I can't correct in bios. What can I do?

I hope this is the right forum to post this.

I've been searching google and cant see to find the correct answer. 
Every result that I find is too old for the G6.

Backstory:

I have an HP Elitebook x360 830 g6. I believe the System board was changed out a year and a half or so ago.
Not 100% sure, but that is what I believe.

The BIOS reports a SN that not only doesnt match the SN that is printed on the bottom of the laptop, but actually matched another laptop that we have. The other Laptop SN is correct (bios and printed on case).

I found something on youtube, but it looks like it works for older laptops:

Any ideas on how to change the serial number in bios without sending it in to HP?
