HP Pavilion Climline s7700y pc SLIC 2.1 request...

Hi all,
I have an HP s7700y that I would like to install WIN7 on. I have an original HP WIN7 CD but it's for a laptop. I should be able to use this to install WIN7 I believe but need to get SLIC update.

Can anyone hook a brutha up?

I'm such a loser... just got around to installing this and it's a no go. I got a pop up that stated I didn't meet the minimum requirements to install this update.

So simple yet I can't even do it... how'd I go wrong?

I'm back at it again... any updates from the community as to why I'm not meeting the minimum requirements to install this update?

Any BIOS updates that can give me the SLIC 2.1?

Thx for the reply BD - i don't have the file any longer and the links that were provided no longer have the download. I guess I need to start all over again?

Sovem did great but for some reason (i followed all of the instructions) I received a message stating that I didn't have the minimum requirements. I even downloaded the zip file again and made an attempt to work my way through it... still got the same message.

This poor thing wants to be used so bad... it's just sitting here doing a happy dance waiting for me to get this figured out.

Run AFUWIN (AFUWINx64), open rom (512.rom) bios and flash.
