HP Pavilion DV6292AE with Intel WiFi Link 5300 / 533AN

Hello,

This is my first BIOS mod to add Wireless-N possebility to the HP Pavilion DV6000 series notebook.

Brand: HP
Model: DV6292EA
BIOS: F2D

The mini-PCIe wireless card was a Intel PROWireless 3945ABG (wireless-G) and i swap it for an Intel WiFi Link 5300 AGN (533AN).

Intel 3945ABG Ven/Dev/Subs: 8086 4222 135C103C
intel 5300AGN Ven/Dev/Subs: 8086 4235 10018086

I hope someone wil be happy with this mod as much as i do ;-)

You did forget to mention that it is Bios version F2E
The bios is working fine!

Great job!!!!

Ps. WinXP and Win7 is only see 3Gb ram out of the 4Gb ram installed
is this also bios related issue?
Because in the bios I see 4096Mb detected.
