i got my optical drive replaced and since then the hp splash at boot time remains for 20secs instead of 2 secs. when i remove the drive it starts up normally.
i asked hp it said it powers up all devices and theres no solution for it.

I want to unlock advsnce menues so that i can switch off powering up of all devices on boot.
