HP Pavilion dv7-1260us

Should work for the whole dv7-1200 series. HP has totally shut down being able to get any software for these laptops. No matter where you go on their site you either get told there's nothing for the selected operating system (which they never give you a chance to select!) or get shunted back to the main support page. (Guess which company I'll be telling anyone who asks what laptop to buy, to NOT buy?)

This site appears to have the last BIOS for it, and drivers. If it's already SLIC 2.1 then hooray!

I've searched here and other mod sites and nowhere does dv7-1260us or dv7-1200 show up, just 1260 or 1200 with other dv numbers or dv7 series other than 12xx.

Looks like same SP as dv7-1468nr and it has been SLIC 2.1 modded, but links to modded version are dead

I found one that someone had removed the WiFi whitelist and enabled hidden or blocked options in BIOS setup, but hadn't done SLIC 2.1. So I downloaded the tools to do that and flashed it on the laptop last night. Success! https://anonfiles.com/P9n2fbrfnc/sp45071...LIC2-1_rar
