HP ProBook 4510s update processor
#21
Adding microcode for QX9300 wil not help - it and dual-core CPUs use common microcode. It's hardware incompatibility.
I don't advice to buy X9100 now - there are many fake ones.

I would like to know if I can replace the computer's BIOS firmware with this one: https://github.com/platomav/CPUMicrocode...BF808E.bin
(If I understand correctly this is an update of all the latest Socket P processors)
Example if afterwards I want to put the old processor back. Will there be no problems?
I can also replace the firmware of another computer with Socket P?

You can do it but it's senseless.

Hi!

I need to add (or replace) microcode for the T7800 processor to the laptop BIOS

Currently there is no microcode for this processor inside the firmware.

I have a processor with CPUID 6FB

BIOS version F20
The firmware itself has a digital signature and to write a modified one need a modified version of HPQFlash.

Can someone help with modifying the BIOS file and does anyone have a modified HPQFlash?

Make DOS USB-stick (e.g, by Rufus), download and unzip all files for the modded version of CHECKUP7 to this DOS USB-stick.
Boot from this DOS USB-stick and make a photo of the screen with results.
