Lightbulb
Hello everyone!
Can anyone please help me whitelist cpu in bios?

I want to use Intel Xeon E3-1275L v3. I have error CPU unsupported and power off.

Have attached full bios dump made via ch341a programmer on unsoldered chip (MX25L6473E).
Bios version 02.28 27/09/2019
AMI bios ver. 4

.bin   stock-ultra1.bin (Size: 8 MB / Downloads: 1)
Thanks

Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
Make a photo of the screen with "error CPU unsupported".

I see that my case is almost identical to this thread: https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-H...DM-i7-4770
Will your mod from there work for me, or do I need something else? The error message is exactly the same as the thread's author's (ERROR: Unsupported CPU installed.
PC will automatically power down in a few seconds.
).

Could you please briefly describe what program you use to edit the necessary lines? Thank you very much!

Yes, I think so.

I tried flashing the mod BIOS using the built-in BIOS flasher and afudos, but both times were unsuccessful.
What other options are there? Is it possible to create a version that allows flashing with a clip?
Thanks!

P.S. - afudos.exe BIL_0228.rom /gan have the same 46 error.

Create Recovery USB flash drive by the official BIOS update - https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp99001-9...p99455.exe
And replace BIL_0228.bin with modded version.

Or try to flash with modded safuwin (safuwinp) - https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads...d-8.81742/

Or just flash it by a hardware programmer.

To flash through the programmer, do I need to match my dump with your mod? Thank you for helping!

No, you have backup to recover.
