It just doesn't get any simpler than that. I've done all this several times in the past, but there's too many years between flashes. One MSI board gave me so much trouble, I learned the art hot flashing. I got so good at doing it, I told one of the guys in the forum I was going to install a ZIF socket on it.

I booted from USB and ran this command: ph161700 /X /FORCE /O /C /S 30CFF34A.WPH That didn't go well I think. It was zipping right along, then about halfway through, It shut down. It was like I pulled the plug. That's where it is now. I haven't touched it.
