Hello,

I have a T60p 2007-8JJ, which is a NON wide-screen model.

Can I use this modified bios for my T60p?
I understand that this modified bios has been tested with success, but am I right?

As obviously I don't want to brick my T60p, I just want to double-check.
Thank you.

*UPDATE 05.04.2017

Maybe not actual, but tested & worked here (also NON wide-screen model).

Yes, you can surely use MOD-BIOS in Lenovo T60 by resetting bios to its default value. You can read article of "BIOS-MODS in Lenovo" given in Lenovo Thinkpad T60 Manual. Now reset bios to its default value with following steps:
nsert Rescue & Recovery Startup Disc into laptop CD drive.

2. Turn on the system by pressing the power button.

3. ThinkVantage Technologies are running and then Rescue and Recovery tool will load from the Recovery Media. Click “Continue” button.

4. You will see a few options to choose from on the following screen. Please click the Restore Your System option on the left. Or click the Full Restore button in the following pop-up window. And you will see a warning message, and click “OK” or “Continue”.

5. Select what kind of a recovery you wish to perform. Now make sure that Factory Recovery is selected and click on the Restore button.

6. A warning message about data loss will now appear, click “Yes” or “Continue”.

7. Click the “OK” to continue in the pop-up dialog.

8. Restore Factory Contents Wizard will now run. Click Next button to continue.

9. Accept Terms and conditions in the following screen, and click “Next”.

10. Click “Next” button to start the recovery.
