Hello,
I am new here so forgive me if possibly I ask silly questions... I have a Gygabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H rev. 1.0 mainboard with a Award bios version F8 on it. I bought a 4TB harddisk and had some problems to install it because of the bios. It works now but there is always the risk that with some false manipulation the HDD becomes unaddressable, which could result in a loss of all data on it. Furthermore, I can't boot from it. I boot from a SSD but I would like to boot also from the HDD for other OS. From what I read on the net I need a uefi bios in order to do so. However, Gigabyte has no uefi update to download (see bios download). So I am wondering if there is a modified bios around here that I could flash on my mainboard. I hope this does not sound too weird...
