Intel BIOS - need help please

First time posting, long time follower. Been following since 2011, and learned from some of the best here.

Anyone successful in a NUC BIOS mod yet? I've looked many hours and it seems to be a dead end.

I'm familiar with basic BIOS mods.
-Added more RAM on HP Mini 110
-WiFi card change on  a Dell XPS 11
-Upgraded CPU on an old 2007 system
-changed a GPU (750 TI) voltage limit
-Dell 2120 bios mod for cpu frequency now @ 1.6GHz, same power use as N270

Tried a few tools found in downloads here, and I must be missing something. Some don't open the file while others don't even save changes properly.

The changes I have in mind are PWM fan changes, increased USB power to 1200Ma on the back, change default BIOS settings for when you restore defaults, and add much more SSD support.

I'm confident that I can restore should a softbrick happen, please throw me a bone.

Can anyone point me to the correct software for this please? Much appreciated. Will provide as much info as I can for this project.
