Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme support for Studio XPS 1640

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with creating a BIOS to support Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme support "Qx9300"" for my comp? After installing the CPU it show up in BIOS but it won't boot past the splash screen with dell logo. The screen just flickers and I receive a continuous loop of loading and flickering off. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I managed to extract and modify the bios using the hex edit route to update the microcode, but can't seem to get it flash correctly. I believe I may be injecting the microcode incorrectly. Please help?!?!?!
