All new laptop models are rewrite protected from unathorized bios.
We can use some tricks to bypass it.
There are Sleep Bug and Recovery Mode.
Sleep Bug didnt work at new models.
Lenovo have nonunderstood Recovery Procedure by hot keys so flashing process like last chance (you can get unlocked bios or bricked laptop).
If you will get bricked laptop so it can be recovered by HW SPI Programmer only.
In your cause bios protection can be bypassed using SPI Programmer only.

Can you explain to me how Lenovo offers a downloadable upgrade to the bios that can be executed from windows (without the use of special hardware or even a USB)?
