Hey Guys!

I m new to this forum.
I have IBM 8114 Board with D945G chipset having LGA 775 socket but unfortunately it is restricted to Pentium 4's and Pentium D's only. I have tried many times to inject microcodes for CPUID=6fd and 6f2 using cbrom but failed all the time, because cbrom doesn't even show BIOS info it just hangs....!

Can anyone mod my BIOS with these two microcodes and sent it to me please??

I already inject micro code you need ,but i can't sure if it can pass the flash utility, you
need to test it .

hey guys!
i have a n IBM 8114 with 945G chipset. It only supports P4's and Pentium D's. So i Added microcodes for dual cores and core 2 duos using HeX Editor, successfully flashed bios but still the situation is same i.e it do not support dual cores and core 2 duos i have tested both. so what could be the problem????

one more thing to ask i used WinPhlash to flash my BIOS, is there something special setting in WinPhlash for new microcodes added BIOS??

help would be appreciated

Make sure the CPUs are listed here:
http://ark.intel.com/products/27720/Inte...patibility
Also, it would help to upload the original and modified versions.

Have you tried a CMOS reset? If you upload the files before and after any mods, someone may be able to verify the work.
