#1
Hi to all,

I made an bios backup by Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 from Lenovo X1 Carbin Type 3448-BT4 laptop. I want to flash original bios back to laptops Bios. Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 made me 12 MB file that i cant flash back. I tide Awdflash, Pflash and many more it just dosn't work. I read some post that is OnBoard Bios and it dosn't go easy. But i can't find nothing about it. Will be greatful for some help.

Ok friend,

Error 280: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space!

So your Eeprom Chip is Write Protect !

Your Bios Backup is into result file :

x32_bios-region_8.1.51.1476.bin

Unpack It using WinRar v.5.20 or above !
This is the right size 7168 KB !

There is no way to disable this protection? Which Tool is the best for flashing dise kind of bios (in my tools i have error like "this is BIOS not Award Bios ? When this Bios has 7168 KB, then whats rest of it? x32 means that the Bios is 32 Bit and rest of the place is for 64? Sorry for stupid questions but thats realy interesting Smile

The code is a thing and actualy is all x64 the olders version are x32 and x16 !
We can bypass error 28 and not Always, then We can use an HW SPI Programmer and
do everything . . . look here :

I'm determined. I will do this if it's the last thing i do.

http://www.ebay.de/itm/SOIC8-SOP8-Flash-Chip-IC-Test-Clips-Buchse-adpter-BIOS-24-25-93-Programmierer-/161545075918?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item259cd63cce

This Programmer will fit? Bios chip that's in my laptop is vary small and an I have doubts that he will fit.
