Old news yes, but, just wanted to say thanks to all the contributors here, awesome site.
Just upgraded my old M58P Q45 from core duo e8300 to xeon x3363 using the lga 771 to 775 mod info here.
Working like a charm.
I have 7 thinkpads, T42-> , it is nice to keep getting some use out of the old ones.
