you can download a bios version for the SK8V that support both dual opteron CPU (275) and ATI power color HD3850 so it should support also the HD4670.

Good job dude, if the two are similar we can use the update code and maybe
insert it into the far7 bios rom. not i am just guessing here so don't get to excited I still have to run it by TheWiz. he is away on a trip at the moment so it might be a bit.

I also found this trhread about modyfying an ACPI table to increase compatibility for the audio part of the ATI HD series cards and also a ptched BIOS for a card with an nForce2 chipset, I have a VIA.

I found that the ABIT AV8 board has a K8T800Pro chipset and it support the HD4670 graphic card.

Following the instruction here "http://www.rebelshavenforum.com/sis-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=000143" I extracted and compared the 2 acpitbl, but are very different so I donw't know if it' useful or not.
I hope it helps.

Well its probable its hiding somewhere in the ACPITBL information, but as for CPU support this may also be in the acpitbl. Normally, the tables aren't very comparable because they are written under specific circumstances, so all the entry points for that bin would be different, therefore uncomparable.

If you have a spare chip, I recommend flashing the stock ABIT AV8. Meanwhile I will try to do some more searching around.

The two board are very different becuase the abit has only one CPU while my MSI use two and I have two.

I don't know much more, I thought it was possible to take from one acpitable only the information needed to let my graphic card working.
I'm not expert about programming.

I notice that the MSI K8T Neo2-F is verysimilar to my board except that it has only one CPU and that it use a realtek chip for networking instead of Broadcom and my is extensive ACPI compliant while the other only ACPi.
