I am going to begin work on the Main Menu mod for this BIOS image. I have tested this new type of mod and confirmed it to work with the help of 'We of Us'.

I will try to logically organize the items in the Main Menu so that it is not too random and nonsensical.

I have created a text file of how I plan to organize the new items with the old ones in the Main Menu. I am now going to implement this mod.

Your second BIOS mod is complete! The archive is at the bottom of this post.

The modified BIOS's name within the archive is "bios_mod_mod.rom". You may need to rename it to "bios.wph" before flashing.

This BIOS mod is a modified version of the previous BIOS mod from post #13. The Main Menu has been upgraded from 8 items to 23 items and the overlapping "System BIOS Version - BIOS Version:" item in the Debug Menu was fixed.


Now for the usual disclaimers/warnings...

Please remember to take proper precautions when flashing your BIOS. Even if the image is safe, the flashing process can still fail. Make sure that (if applicable) your notebook is fully charged (100%), the power plug is properly connected, and that the chance of the power going out is as minimal as possible. Do not interrupt the flashing process. If possible, it is a good idea to have a working CRISIS recovery disk when messing with your BIOS. Use the flashing instructions for your particular computer brand. DO NOT DO ANYTHING UNNECESSARY!!!

There issue on toshiba netbook and old laptop that run win 10. It can't hibernate or hybrid shutdown... some forum says it because of some bios feature not compatible. I want to try Your modded bios. Hope it can break the issue. FYI I also have acer 2920 on win 10 too... but the hybernate , hybrid shutdown and start up can work great. If anyone have same issue or have solution, let share here.
