Then this happens.

Writing 100%
Verifying 0x2000 bytes at address 0xFFE16000. ... 01% done
ERROR ! - Miscompare at MMIO address 0xFFE17E48
NVRAM data = 0x87, Image data = 0x52.

### ERROR ###. Direct Update Program Path Error
An error was encountered comparing the NVRAM data to the ROM image

This message is displayed with all the mods if i use the extra command /forceit

My computur has 8gb of ram installed.
Should i pit the original amount of ram back in?

Can you flash original A05 version without errors?

#53
No I was only able to load an original A07 without errors.

Any other version gives an error saying it fails several check safety checks.
And if i use the /forceit command then I get the error as discribed previously.

Should i maybe remove the cmos battery to reset before flashing?

Yes. Try it,
How to Perform a BIOS or CMOS Reset and/or Clear the NVRAM on your Dell System
Try to flash Initial Release of BIOS.

Failed again.

I have reset the cmos with the jumper and battery option tried loading initial release of bios and it gave a failed consistancy check.
Like before.

I think mine is not gonna do the trick... ?

Have you any supported CPU?

This with the original CPU installed.

I can only flash with the latest A07 from dell. Then no error occurs ..

Try with to change to your Xeon and to flash Initial Release of BIOS from DOS.

Apparently there arae sone slight version differences in dell morherboards.
Ill try and get the right A05 option from Dell and see what happens.
Cheers Richard.
