OptiPlex 360 380 760 780 960 Xeon LGA 771 E0 1067A Microcode
Thanks, I can download from there! Which module contains the microcodes? I can't find them at all in HDR or Rom, even if I extract all modules with PhoenixTool.

Thanks. the download worked for me also. My lack of familiarity with DCCU got in the way of my installation. I've asked for advice at a Dell workstation forum before I make a 2nd attempt at this.
I have an interim workaround for the Xeon swap. The 1067A LGA775 microcode that's already there will apply useable settings if you have a 1067A LGA775 CPU installed. Then Throttlestop 6.00 software can apply the available multipliers and Voltage to the Xeon CPU and save them to BIOS. The unsupported CPU error still cuases a 100% fan situation at startup. Reboot F1 can clear that.
Here is my Geekbench 4 result.

Here is how the X5470 swap compares to other Optiplex 380 systems.

Here is the ranking at userbenchmark.com

The X5470 with GTX1060, and GTX1050 are both mine.

Hello !  I  have a moded Xeon L5430  CPU  and the  strong will  to fit  it  to my Dell Optiplex 380 SFF  machine .   Could  you please  be so nice and  share  again  you  mod  for  version A05 ?   Right  now  I have  A07 version installed .

Many thanks in advance , I am not  used  to hex-editting by myself  in  such  sensitive  tasks  like  Bios  modding   !

I fnally did the BIOS upgrade. SSE4.1 is there, and the Windows fan issue resolved itself. I hadn't done the last step of the install. I thought it was installing and it wasn't yet. I apologize for not responding to you. I work only on Dells and have had so little use for the BIOS I didn't have notifications turned on for this site. I don't own Aida64. I'll see if I can get you another similar file.
I'll see if any of the benchmarks are different. Thank you for making an A05 version.

Some of the benchmarks are just a little faster. Everything is running beautifully.Someone in India asked for some cooling mods. With an undervolt, and a 150x50mm workstation fan It runs Prime 95 Small FFTs @ 52*C.

This is my first time doing this guys so bear with me please Smile

I got this nerdy project i'm doing i'm replacing my Dell Optiplex 380 CPU (i'm updated to the latest Bios A07) with a modded X5470 CPU and i was told i need some files but i'm not sure what files i need i was told a A07 modded bios and some other files but the person that's trying to help is trying really hard but i'm having trouble understanding where he is telling me to get these files i need.

Can someone help me by maybe with some direct links on the exact files i need with some helpful instructions please?
Any help will be much appreciated thanks in advance Smile

Is this the file i need? ( optiplex 380_771_a07.rar )
