To anybody that has the COMPAQ PRESARIO CQ42 with an i3 M350 notebook. I am sure this will work with other variations of the CQ42 noteboook.
Just download the setfsb_2_2_134_98 program. scroll down to PLL SLG505YC56DT clock generator. Use the lower buttons the ones that go up to 190
and increase in 2 numeric configuration settings. The upper buttons freeze the noteboook. The lower ones clock the fsb. I managed 160 fsb stably on the laptop. Thats 2720 mhz stably from 2270 as stock. I think about 166 fsb should be doable. Super PI was 15 secs 166 might hit 14 secs. DRAM frequency about 620 mhz. My L750 Toshiba at 2.9 ghz does Super PI in about 12 secs. Wont post pics. Just thought it interesting.
