Here you are, I used the HP 2.1 SLIC. Flash at your own risk, and please consider going legit as Windows 7 is a worthy release from Microsoft.

Every cent counts, please dontate to the forum if you are happy with Biosmods.com

Hey could I ask you for a repost of this please, the link is dead.

Or better yet could you do it with the latest BIOS version 0709? Maybe with Asus or Dell SLIC 2.1?

Here is the link:

Thanks a lot!

So I finally got to this. Unfortunately it does not work. I'm wondering if there is something I'm doing wrong. It is the same procedure as I used for DELL, and it worked on it.

I confirmed that the BIOS does in fact have the Asus SLIC 2.1 table in it. But the Table ID is "Notebook", not sure if that makes a difference. I successfully installed the Asus certificate, and then the key for ultimate version, but after all that I still had 30day activation.

I was trying to erase the keys with slmgr /upk and slmgr /cpky commands, and tried other asus keys, but after the first one the rest just gave me errors.
Error: 0xC004F015

Any suggestions?

Edit: By the way the media I have been using for Win7 is Ultimate Retail SP1, which worked fine for dell. Not sure if that makes a difference.

All right I figured it out. There were two Asus certificates, one old and one new. I didn't even notice the new one before. But now that I installed it, this is working fine. Thanks for your help!
