PEGATRON IPMIP-H55-INSPUR unlock Lynnfield CPUs support
#1
Hello!, is possible to unlock/upgrade microcode to support Lynnfield CPUs? this is a OEM motherboard, i suppose it has a artificial limitation to support only clarkdale CPUs, when the Intel H55 supports all 1156 CPUs, if you found any other stuff to unlock in this bios it will be great!

last thing the ugly oem splash logo, could be removed?

PEGATRON IPMIP-H55-INSPUR Ver 1.02

motherboard is working fine with a core i5 650 (clarkdale)

i got a core i5 750 (Lynnfield) so i hope i can use it with this motherboard :-(

the bios is directly extracted from the Motherboard with AFUdos.

.rom   VITH55.ROM (Size: 1 MB / Downloads: 28)

Make and post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with your i5-750.
P.S. Unlocking and removing logo are offtopic in this section.
