sorry, forgot to come back n post, been busy at work.

Ive deleted my UEFI drive as commented on in one of the other threads, and am trying the latest version file u gave me, so far so good, no problems as of yet.

So the whitelist check is gone? Can i move the file for everybody's use and rename to 100%?

Yes this one works 100%, have had no problems at all with this one. Was it a whitelist removal or just a vendor id patch we did though?

ah bugger, seems i just managed to avoid crashing the lappy for a while, just came back to it sitting blank, had to recover it and remove the new wireless card again, so looks like something is still corrupting the bios later down the track Sad back to the drawing board.

hmmm, have you tried in a fresh windows install? You're the only that suffer this "corruption" from time to time with this patch.

well its about time i did a fresh windows install without all the rubbish hp loads on here... 5 dvds to make a recovery set! and i can have win7 on one disc... thats alot of extra crap.

Have flashed it back on, put in the card, and fresh installed Win7, so far so good.
