[REQUEST] Acer Aspire 4750G & i5-2520M
#1
Hello everyone,
I've just upgrade my old laptop acer aspire 4750g from i3 2310M to i5 2520M, it seem like the turbo boost doesn't work now, there is no option to enable or disable Turbo boost in my BIOS, so I need someone unlock the BIOS hidden setting to enable Turbo Boost, I will send a small sum.
My specs now:
i5 2520M
8GB DDR3 RAM
GPU gt520m

Link to acer bios 1.24: https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/BIOS_Acer_1.24_A_A.zip?acerid=634921025155312677&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=ASPIRE&Step3=ASPIRE%204750G&OS=711&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6

Thank you very much !

Did you do Load Defaults in BIOS? Is PSU connected to laptop?

Boot with Windows Live DVD/USB make screenshots of ThrottleStop: main window, TPL & TRL.

1. Take USB stick and format to FAT32
2. Create directory structure EFI\Boot
3. Download and unzip bootx64.7z
4. Put BOOTX64.EFI to Boot directory.
5. Boot from this USB stick
6. Run command: setup_var 0x19F
7. Make and post a photo of the screen.
