fixed zip file, bad zip format issue is 4MB upload limit, so when I was trying to use max compression to get lower filesize but stupid program made bad file

Would you like a screen shot? I can understand if you have doubts, updating BIOS is only for those who know what they are doing. let me warn you I an not responsible to what you do to your laptop. make sure you have tested recovery methods for this laptop. let me warn you if you depend on HDMI sound then hold back, also If you use OS X then also hold back because in OS X I have a darker display.
I need to devise a patch the VBIOS in order to correct the issues.

If these things don't bother you I can be sure that this BIOS upgrade is worth it.

why do they want to flash BIOS? unlocked feature? please note my mod is a firmware update not extra unlocking.

I am wondering if you could overvolt the system fan, or is it not possible without cutting wires?
I have serious overheating problems, and as far as I know, the percentage setting for the fan in the BIOS supplies it with 3.3V PWM, yet it can bear 5V, that should be what we hear when flashing new BIOS (yeah, kinda sounds like a turbine, but i would really like to hear that instead of feeling the heat and worrying for my hardware).
I have high hopes in this, because if overvolting it within the BIOS wasn't possible, then neither should it be while flashing. Or at least that's what I think

Then, I want also ask if modifing fan rpm in bios will work after in the s.o. ...
I have tried to set max rpm at 40° just for try, but it's not working... The fan start rotate regulary at 55° and then at max at 75° ...
Why this?

Hi mate,

I think your going to have to wait for akbar or admins or the mods for this one because this requires special mod.

Here is the fixed version of acer 5750G 1.21 UEFI BOOT/ADVANCED/POWER UNLOCKED plus updated VBIOS 2158 with settings copied from the V2119 VBIOS.

Brightness, HDMI Audio all Work.

Still need fixing 1366x768 Resolution at boot time for Clover & XPC Bootloaders.

How can I be 100% secure that this BIOS will work on this Notebook?

You can download both unchanged files (TSX66HR from packardbell.com and 5750g from acer.com) and compare them. They are similar.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of installing the Hackintosh BIOS?

Is Windows still supported in this BIOS? Or will it loose some features?

Can it be installed with OEM Mac install disc? Does it still need any loaders?
