I have the same model, there are many problems with the cpu, if we could do the shutdown via BIOS of the apu R7, or be able to do the undervolt, it would greatly increase the overall performance of the notebook.

I've the Acer Aspire 5 (A515-41G) and I'd like to request the BIOS unlock if it is possible. We want for example to turn off the APU R7 and/or make an overclock at the AMD A12-9720P processor.

The latest BIOS available is the version 1.09 and can be downloaded from the official Acer website at the following link:
