[REQUEST] Acer Aspire M3710 & M5711 & M7711 BIOS Unlock

can i unlock OC features with this??

cpu-z says it has a r01-a2 ami bios...

i cant see anything in bios to manual enter clock to oc...

help...

i only want to change FSB because i have a Q8300 and only the FSB can be changed, stock multiplier of 7.5

i want it to reach from stock 2.55Ghz to 3.0Ghz, and 3.2Ghz if possible with stock cooling...

i would really appreciate the help...

Sorry to tell you this but there are no o ptions available to unlock in this bios

Also , theres no way you can adjust your CPU multiplier anyway , unless you have an AMD Black Edition or Intel Extreme Edition chip , which come with unlocked multipliers

but why?? so i cant do nothing to unlock any oc feature?? not even fsb change??... so that means a new mobo ryt??... what mobo is good for oc anyway that is cheap enough?? asus? msi? gigabyte??

Because the options are not there to start with and you cant really add options in unless you can write a completely new bios by yourself!

Id get an Asus Rampage II Extreme If you can afford one

yeah Asus,,... great mobos... my old pc was an asus black pearl... oc'ed only gave me +100ghz... hehe.. wel it was a p3 1ghz.. so thats all it could handle...

il try looking for asus boards maybe i could find one that i can afford..

only thing is.. has will i know if it is compatible with all the stuff my system has?? and it requires a disk format ryt??..

New motherboard dont require a disk format as you are using your old hard drive.

If you would be so kind to message me with the board you are thinking of getting , along with a current list of your hardware , il be happy to check over the compatibility for you

Can you unlock the Fsb functions please and some other overlock function?

BIOS Date: 08/19/2009

In this forum i find this one unlocking for R01-A3 its still the same name of my bios so i cant use this too?

The link thats modded is not the same as what your computer is, its jsut the notation Acer uses for their bioses. Please be patient with me as I have a lot of requests to get to today and tommorow, but I should have an answer by Wednesday.

Hey Martin,

After a long week, I was finally able to get to your request. The only things that were unlockable was the PECI option and the Health hardware temperature monitorings. Hope this helps, but thats the most this bios has.
