No one has solved this for me yet, unfortunately. With versions prior to 2.09 you get SATA3 but no bluetooth. With the latest bios you'll get bluetooth but not SATA3. Hopefully someone will come along that can do this mod to BIOS 2.21 so we can have both.

What is really essencial to me is sata 3 speed. My laptop did not come with bluetooth. Do you have the 2.09 version ready to recover the bios with a pen drive? If yes, can u upload it?

Hello everyone sorry for my bad English..
I have Acer Aspire E1-531 Laptop and today i installed latest update of BIOS, ver 2.21 and my vRAM decreased from 128 to 32 after upgrade.
Please guys i'll link you Official BIOS here and please MOD it, I really need to have Advanced settings in BIOS, I can't downgrade BIOS because when installing old version it says: "BIOS version compare error".
Please please please please mod me it please i really need more vram i don't have more laptops..
And please also don't upload it on rghost because when i did see one guy's post to this laptop and when i go to link on rghost site say the file is not accesible or is locked (something like this)
But if there's no more upload sites you can upload ok, do it on rghost.

what I need from this is the advanced menu and UEFI boot options unlocked, please. The laptop boots a UEFI volume if manually told to from the F12 boot menu, but the UEFI boot options or boot menu entry in the BIOS aren't enabled because the Secure boot stuff doesn't exist for the 1.x BIOS files, only the 2.x files. I'd like to boot my laptop without having to press F12 every time.

this is *not* an SLIC request, just menu unlocking and the ability to boot without having to choose the UEFI option from the F12 menu every time I start the computer.

EDIT: I was able to go in with the GRUB EFI boot commandline from the sticky and change the value for 0x79 (boot type) to 0x2 (UEFI boot) from 0x1 (Legacy) and now it boots fine. still want this BIOS unlocked so I can change it in the future if the battery ever goes flat on the board.
