[REQUEST] Asus EX-B250-V7 unhide iGPU configuration

@soundguy

No one is you should used to your board because of these dumps were not from your mainboard. I would check you provided bios dump and make a new mod for you. But I'm not home now ,when i'm back home, i will check your dump ,maybe few hours later.

What difference with two bios dump you provided??

Hi, thank you in advance, i dont hurry for that.

First dump is from the 1st motherboard, second is from the 2nd motherboard. I have two motherboards. They should be completely same, model, hardware, revision, bios version and everything. But when i have tried to compare both dump files from motherboards in total commander via compare function, the files really differ in more then few places. I dont know why.

Maybe only 1 modded bios would be enough and valid for both motherboards, but i dont really know. That is why i am asking you. Thank you.

@soundguy

First try this mod then respond to the result ,it made based on first dump you provided.

If it work fine ,i will do another mod from second dump.

Hi, thank you for your effort.

Hopefully, i will have some free time during the upcoming weekend, so i will try .rom file you have uploaded and then i will let you know.

Btw could you explain to me like to BFU, why do i still need 2 different BIOS mods for 2 identical motherboards (i hope they are identical).

Thank you

@soundguy

Ask you a question ,does these two motherboards has the same mac address? if not ,now you should understand why it does need to modify respective bios dump.
Of course you can use one mod flash to two motherboard ,i assume the modification is based on board1's dump ,if you wrote it to two board ,board2's stock information will become to board1's ,original uuid ,SN,mac address or some hidden information will lose.

@cryptdean

I don't have make a generic mod for EX-B250-V7 yet ,so far i always let user to dump bios then i edit the dump.
Making a generic tool package for EX-B250-V7 to unlock menu is possible ,but it need a while ,i've got going on researching a new bios file. So,maybe 1~2 day later when i have free time ,i would to make one.

Now it's 12:58 AM in my country ,so i must offline and go bed.

Generic tool package of menu unlock for EX-B250-V7 was done.  Here is link.

Users need to manually replace modified module at step2 ,because of some problems i meet when it automatically replace modified setup module by mmtool(save as unsignature). If the saved rom was unsignature ,i feel it can't re-flash again.
