There is no unlocked version unfortunatly, but the link for the original is above. The reason your link doesnt work is because we switched our domain from biosmods to bios-mods

Hello,

I was wondering if there are any hidden bios settings that could be activated on a HP IPIBL-LB Motherboard, please take a look,

There are different settings, could you specify what you are looking for?
You need ACPI settings or chipset settings or PCI-E settings or CPU cores disabling?

Hi Antinomy. thanks for replying,

Honestly, this Bios is so locked up, that basically you can only select boot stuff, SMART and disk testing and that's about it...

So any Overclocking capabilities and chipset settings would be awesome Smile

Thank you.

Hi, I was looking at this forum and I found one BIOS that claims some CPU freq set to User, but there is no such option in the BIOS, so I am looking for someone to mod it in
Included, is the already modded BIOS (which I am using right now). ROM is 1MB in size.

Greeting. So I built a new rig(from old parts). But I have a problem, I love to overclock but the mobo I got is a HP IPIBL-LB or aka Asus IPIBL-LB witch sadly has locked bios. SO could some genius mod this bios to, most importantly, unlock voltage, FSB and maybe fan curve. The voltage is the most important thing for me btw. Thanks.

BIOS version v5.43

I actually had another LGA 775 board with me. The board was a IPIBL-LB Asus board with no native overclocking ability. So, what I did was use a clock generator (clockgen.exe), and up the fsb to about 417mhz to result with a stable clock of 3.55ghz. It is fine using just the intel speed-step voltages, and runs under 60 degrees celcius. I'm pretty happy with it, but I do appreciate your help. I learned something new, and know how to extend the life of an old platform be it a BSEL mod or a clock generator Big Grin . The attatchment is cpu-z.
