[REQUEST] Asus K53SD Bios Unlock
#21
well, ok, my afuwingui version is 3.05.02. and rom id is ALWAYS incorrect. guess because it says "firmware id 0ABUC0007" and file rom id 0ABUC000. so I cant flash my backup either!

by the way, I tried CodeRush manual, this is the output

C:\Windows\system32>cd C:\Users\Ender\Desktop\AfuWin64

C:\Users\Ender\Desktop\AfuWin64>afuwinx64.exe bkp2.rom /O

Saving current BIOS into file: bkp2.rom

C:\Users\Ender\Desktop\AfuWin64>afuwinx64.exe ENDER.MODS.rom /P /B /K

 - FFS checksums ......... ok
4 - Error: ROM file ROMID is not compatible with existing BIOS ROMID.

C:\Users\Ender\Desktop\AfuWin64>

and then

C:\Users\Ender\Desktop\AfuWin64>afuwinx64.exe bkp2.rom /P /B /K

also, I tried this one

https://ami.com/en/download-license-agre...tility.zip

but it says "Flash part is not supported"

and yes, like, maybe it's a reason. I'm currently using windows 10.

is there a posibility that I send a corrupted bios to you, that I got with .02 version? Either way, I try it in evening and then I send a reply. Even if I brick my laptop, at least I know that I was not alone Smile

This is starting to be hilarious.

I got AFUWIN 3.05.04.
I saved rom, then opened, and then.
Once I open saved rom, file rom id is "0ABUC000" and firmware rom id is "0ABUC0007". it's nonsense.

By the way, it's interesting, I tried to download this https://uploadfiles.io/t3pc7 on work, on another pc and I even cannot unpack it. says it's corrupted. But yesterday at home it was ok. hm.   DAMNT, too old winkek at work.

So I did. In the archive you send, I ran AFUWINGUI and it shows bad ROM ID from flash just which just read. "7" is still missing. I have screenshots. on bkp3 is when I open the same ff I just saved. and ender mod screenshot is where I try to open what you've done.

Sorry for bad quality of screenshots, it was just a long way to get it. better screenshots I can get when I will be home, like, in an hour.

hey there. i need a little help over here. i have a K53SD laptop and i swapped some hardware to upgrade the system. last time i reinstalled the OS i didn't notice that I format the HDD as an MBR partition. after reinstallation I formatted it as GPT and for some reason the Windows 10 boot animation is stretched. it handles different who ever knows why. the boot code differs. it's not a big deal but would be good to fix it and after a tons of searches i found out that enable Secure Boot can fix this. i flashed my machine with this but did not find any Secure Boot options. am I blind or this unlocked BIOS doesn't have option for it?
