BDMaster, please. can make mod to my A08 bios. I have an idea to flash it on windows with fptw64 command/ Your old bios mod not the same as my currient bios/ I compared two .txt files from IFR extractor/ Thank You.

Yes !!! this is the SPI Bios Lock Bug discovered by Vodek on Acer Aspire VN-791 !!!

P.S. to get working the FPT Tool You have to use It by Windows Desktop after Woke-Up the Laptop !

Just copy the "modified" folder into C:\ HD root and open a Comand Prompt with Admin Rights getting
a window C:\ then execute the FPTw (x32) or FPTw64 (x64) aligned to your Windows O.S.

cd \

cd C:\modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

Or

fptw64 -f bios.bin -bios

Then reboot your laptop and go to the Bios setup Menu and make some ScreenShots to see the differences !

Downgrade to oldest Bios version and redo result file !

Could You describ the steps You done to flash the Bios Mod ?

As you said before. tried fptw64 command, after i recieved error 280 i woke up my laptop from sleep and tried again, but recieved another error 7.
Okay i will flash Oldes A03 bios. With this bios i had error 28, which can be removed via "woke-up" fix.

So finally A03 has Bug Bios Lock actived ?
If so give to me again the result file form this A03 version and I will
upload a Bios Mod for It !

Finally i can't downgrade my bios. I dunno why. When I'm starting to flash all goes ok but after reboot just black screen.
Tried to edit some values in platform.ini, but unsuccesfully. May be you can do it? The link for bios in 3rd page.
