Try boot menu to boot device.
When machine boot press f12(or esc) ,see the boot menu then choose usb device.

The flash drive is formatted on Windows system in FAT32.
I copied the EFI folder to the root of the flash drive

when I press the F12 key, a menu appears, I select boot from USB, then a black screen is displayed

No idea ,i don't know why so many problem on your machine.
Do you sure bios support uefi boot??
If it not ,there are some tools you can't use.

Because it's difficult to re-flash modified bios at amd platform(only afu tool) ,so i want you only do change variable of setup model.
