[REQUEST] GA-8I865GME-775-RH (rev. 3.9) & Quad Q6600

Hello,

I have GA-8I865GME-775-RH (rev. 3.9) motherboard and I want to use Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU . The board has official support for Conroe CPUs. I want to find out if it is possible to use the Core 2 Quad Q6600 in this motherboard.  I found a thread where there was a modified bios for Wolfdale, will the Q6600 work if it is installed?

I saw it on the ASUS P5PE-VM (which has the same chipset as on my motherboard) the Q6600 was installed .

For some reason I can't attach the bios.

Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with new CPU.

I don't have a q6600 yet, I'm just building a computer on this motherboard. I would like to know if it will be possible to install this processor if I install some kind of modified BIOS.
