[REQUEST] Gateway DX4831 BIOS Unlock

is this an amd system? i have a gateway dx4380g hoping its a similar system that uses the same bios. but dont want to risk flashing without knowing. Amd a6 apu acer aahd3-vc motherboard

Forgive me in advance because I am new. I am trying to just get my computer to work. A friend of mine took it upon himself to goto a random site and flash my bio on my computer. He does not remember where nor did he backed up the bio.

I guess my question is, is there anyway if somebody were able to provide a working bios for my motherboard, and then I can just flash the bios with that to get my computer to work again?

Hi guys. Great site, glad I found you. Ive been reading through posts for around 4 hrs now trying to find a bios that might work for me but just cant find anything.

I have a gateway dx4831-07c that i just spent a bunch of money on updating the video card, power supply, water cooling etc. I installed everything, then went to overclock my processor ( I5-750 2.66ghz) then found out my bios has no options to do it.

Ive updated the bios to the latest version from gateway, but of course that didnt do anything to fix my problem. Also tried all the usual ctrl, shift, alt and f1 combo's, which didnt do anything either.

The bios is now at AMI P01-B1

I tried to find out how to upload a copy of the bios from my pc to this post but couldnt figure out which program or how to do it.

Best i can do is paste the actual file i downloaded from gateway to update it.

I feel like I'm being completely ignored here. I keep searching for ways to do this my self or another bios that might work but I'm getting nowhere.

Hey all,  Looking to unlock the bios on this H57 intel motherboard in my Gateway DX4831.  Would like to OC my i7-760 as the end result if possible.  Have attached a link to the a .rom backup I made as well as the results from Backup Tools if wanted..
