how do i do that? I'm a real noob to this stuff. this is what I see. I tried running dump.bat, but it would just pull up cmd without doing anything.

Now that it seems that your system block batch file ,
you can directly run FPTW64.exe via Command Prompt as Administrator. Then type below command and press enter you will get a bios dump.

fptw64.exe -d dump.rom -bios

The purpose of batch script file is only to simplify the process when users backup bios or flash bios. But your system seem block them ,so you only can manually run cmd to use fptw64.exe.

this is what I get. i made sure to run in admin. idk what the issue is

You need move to FPTW64.exe's path then run commands to dump bios. Please search and learn how to use cmd(command prompt) in the internet at first.

This is why i provided batch script files to users ,but don't know what reasons it can't running at your system. (Still suggest you use dump.bat to make a bios dump ,but you need find out what stuffs to blocked it by thyself.)

Give you a little tips.

(a) Copy folder f12 to c:\ ,folder f12 was unpacked from f12.rar and it contains FPTW64.exe and others.

(b) Run cmd as administrator then follow below.
(1) c:\windows\system32>cd\ then press enter
(2) c:\
(3) c:\cd\f12 then press enter
(4) c:\f12>
(5) type fptw64.exe -d dump.rom -bios then press enter or type dump.bat then press enter to create a bios dump.

You have a lack of basic pc knowledge ,so i feel it would danger if continue this bios mod.

Any hosts can be upload files as well ,as long as you like.

Before modify bios , make sure you can boot a usb stick as uefi mode ,because we need to changes offset variable of bios on grub environment. (Disable secure boot ..etc in the bios)

Here is your mod try it then respond to the result. This mod only for your laptop because of the mod was made by a unique bios dump that from your machine.
