[REQUEST] HP G62-100, -200, -300 & -400 Series (Intel) BIOS Unlock

Hello,

I've been searching in vain for a modded BIOS for a family member's HP G62t-300.

I need to be able to adjust the RAM timings as HP apparently runs the stock ram at different settings than the new memory (same type/clocks but higher capacity).

Board model is 1484

HP link is http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52501-53000/sp52604.exe

There are several BIOS versions for this machine so any of them are fine with me.

According to HP's support site the following BIOS versions were used in this model:

F.37 Rev. A, sp52604
F.36 Rev. A, sp52459
F.35 Rev. A, sp51896
F.32 Rev. A, sp51125
F.26 , sp50938
F.25 Rev. A, sp50468
F.24 Rev. A, sp50228


I've flashed 3 of these and they all work.....just no advanced menu to change memory timings.

What I meant by any of them being fine is that I'm nopt overly concerned with a mod of the most recent if someone already has one of the older versions modded I would be thrilled.

hello need to get into the advanced options on my laptop

original bios:

I found it and installed it but unfortunately it still does not have the advanced options

I was looking for keys that can run advanced mode but not effectively.

To access BIOS/UEFI Setup, press and hold Delete on a USB Keyboard while the system is booting up
Load Optimized Defaults
If your CPU supports VT-d, disable it
If your system has CFG-Lock, disable it
If your system has Secure Boot Mode, disable it
Set OS Type to Other OS
Save and exit.

bios is stock after save cheanges...

open platform.ini and locate this

FileName=ZR7x64EC.fd

change to this

[FDFile]

or to this

[FDFile]
FileName=ZR7x64EC_SLIC.fd

and launch insydeflash again.

i have 3 files

1484.ini
1425_12.ini
1425_11.ini

1st

;FileName default : empty.

sec.
[FDFile]
FileName=1425F37.fd
;FileName default : empty.

3rd
[FDFile]
FileName=1425F37.fd
;FileName default : empty.

Just add ";" ? on the sec end 3rd?

This Camiloml Mod is only for Laptop with 142x Model = Platform !!!
Your is an 1426 so is good and this Bios Mod has to work on your !

Uploader bios but when I click save and close the crash. sp52604_142xOnly_Ulk_Menus_ByCamiloml.exe version does not work for me , I did not find the version you threw the net and I could not downloading a file ( a problem with the internet ) I was grateful if you sent your email or tossed on a file server that endures for several days.

It's strange your Board is 1426 (Platform or Model) so 1425F26.fd is your Bios file !
It is used for 1425 and 1426 Models !
Now We can try to get a version for You but We have to identify the Bios which is
flashed on your laptop so . . .
Use this tool run It as Admin and upload the result file :

please can someone help me with modded bios sp52604.exe?
(i have downloaded on DL section...)

already installed and all works perfect while i'm stay in bios...
(WONDERFUL ALL IS UNLOCKED now maybe i can control also my washin machine)

BUT...

why when i try to SAVE (save&exit) computer hangs ???

This BIOS is not for your notebook PC

Is possible that file SP52604.exe (modded) is corrupted?? i told this because when i extract the file from ZIP
winzip tell me : is impossible to find SP52604.exe file... ???

but are you crazy?
it's on the desktop...
