Ok your model is 1425 and this Bios is for your Laptop !
So use this trick (It will check Platform) :

Run CheckCM.vbe from Bios Folder and exeute as Administrator so
right mouse click and run As Administrator !

I always use run as admin... First i use ckeck..command and then flash it again... Right? When i go back at home (now i'm working) i will try. I cannot brick the mainboard right?

now bios it's ok but (it's not first time that i make an hackintosh..)
i'm not be able to start mountain lion or maverick on this pc
maybe its the image not bootable...(i have not a mac for download app...) use TRANSMAC..
iAtkos image... i used all boot flags... cpus=1...busratio=17...-v -x -f -F GraphicsEnabler....in not important that i explaine TO YOU (You know that)
but all the time computer restart and goes to HP startup logo...

do you know how can i fix it?

Hello, I've been getting ready to retire my old laptop and wanted to see what I could squeeze out of it before I get rid of it. It had Insyde H20 f .37 on it, but I suppose in one of my attempts, something stuck and now it says F.30 now, but I cannot get to the advanced panel to do some overclocking. I downloaded a BIOS that was supposed to have the diagnostic panel switched for advanced, but it doesn't. When I try to install, before unpacking, it says extracting, goes to 100% then nothing else. No dialogue box or restart. After unpacking then using the InsydeFlash.exe, it asks for admin permission, and I give it, then nothing else happens. I checked InsydeFlash.log and this is what I got

I searched for probably four hours for any information I could find on the error code and came up with nothing, and also searched through countless forums, quite a few where people got screamed at for not fully understanding the BIOS. I'm at my wits end and I'm tempted to just use this laptop for target practice instead, which was admittedly the plan after it died. So, any ideas on what I can do? Thanks for the help. And if I need to give any more info, I'll be more than happy to!

Hello,

First, this site is amazing, I've made use of a lot of custom BIOS files here. Thanks so much for your work.

I recently came into possession of an old HP G62. I was looking for a whitelist BIOS and found one (https://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS/index.php...miloml.exe), works great, allowed me to use a different WiFi card.

But I also found a modded BIOS with extra menus unlocked that I would like to use (https://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS/index.php...miloml.exe). Flashed it successfully, was able to get into the BIOS menus, but upon trying to exit & save, the computer hangs. Same thing happens even when selected exit & discard. Either way, the settings selected can't be saved.

Searching around the forum, it seems someone had the same problem (https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-h...p52604-exe) and @BDMaster uploaded a fixed file, but the link is long since dead.

So my question would be, can this file be reuploaded, or the sp52604 unlocked BIOS file be fixed? Thanks so much in advance!
