Ran into this. Which has been a pain for me. Won't "downgrade", even though I am currently at F.12.

Well, I have tried every single BIOS possible, and I must have purchased the one brand of laptop with that special BIOS that can't be modded. Leave it up to me to accomplish that task. Nobody but me could have made that choice. LOL! Is there a list of "worst laptops to have", when it comes to Mods? Does mine need to be added to the list? Well, I learned a bunch though.

Thanks, and when you buy another notebook remember, no hp :p best ones to bios mods (in my opinion / based on my xp) are acer and dell

I hope someone can help me, I am a little overwhelmed with all the various possible ways to remove the whitelist from HP computers. What will be the easiest way for me at this point? I have not tried anything yet.
