Ever since I updated to a newer bios on my laptop, it has been running (considerably) slower and hotter. I've tried downgrading it, but it gives me an error, ' Boot chain Can't support bios downgrade'.
I think I had found an unlocked bios here on these forums in an old thread, but the two links to the files are long dead.
The versions of the Bios I have right now isl
F.1C
I can downgrade to F.1B and F.1A, but it seems to make no difference.
The version I am trying to install is F.19 or F.02
Not sure which one exactly I had previously, but I remember trying them both out and then updating to the newer one, which blocks me from downgrading again.
Thanks. Here is the drivers page with the original HP drivers;

If anyone can help, thanks in advance.
I used InSpectre to try and improve performance, but it is still noticeably slower and hotter.
