[REQUEST] HP Pavilion dv8-1200 series Whitelist Removal
#21
Hello,

I noticed you have a modified bios with extra menus, but I don't see one for a wireless whitelist.

I tried to install an 802.11ac wireless card and I received this message:
104-unsupported wireless network device detected.

Here is the direct download link:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp49001-49500/sp49106.exe

If you can get it working I would happily donate $10 for your help.
Thanks

Excellent work! I can now use that card on my Win 7 box.
I've sent you a PM.

Thanks so much!

I can confirm 100% that the above bios is modded and works on my Windows 7 laptop to use the 802.11ac wireless card from Intel. (Intel 7260HMW IEEE 802.11ac Mini PCI Express Bluetooth 4.0 - Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Combo Adapter).

The forum admins can move this to filled.

Thanks again for the help.

i just read your old post here https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-h...0eg--16269

im getting the same thing

it will post, take twice as long
as soon as windows starts to load, win 10 gets problem with windows then blue screen
ive just wiped the hdd and installed 7 and flashed the ADV 1 and its still doing the same

when i go to Advanced in the bios and select IDE CONFIG it crashes

booting from windows 7 media starts loading then blue screen STOP

windows has been shut down

the bios in this system is not fully ACPI compliant
STOP 0X000000A5 0X00010009,0X00000000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000

i have just tried this http://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS/Insyde/sp4...miloml.exe

it didnt bugger up my system but it wont let me install my wifi card

when i enter the bios and select ide it still crashes, i dont care about this
