i flashed it and it worked at a couple of min and stopped working had to restart, keep bringing me to the bios recovery, had to flash stock f.29. can you unlock the advance menu plse thank you

Hey, I haven't found anything for my model in particular. Please help. Also, how do i install it?

PC: HP Pavillion DV6-3250us
BIOS download link: sp55299.exe
Version: F.29

UPDATE: I used a bios mod from a similar dv6 with the same bios version of SP55299.  The new Intel Centrino advanced n 6320 card works on 5 ghz now, however there are a few errors.
1)USB not recognized error keeps popping up.
2)bluetooth off of the card isn't working
3)intel widi isn't recognizing any adopters anymore (even though there's one less than 10 feet away).

PLEASE HELP!!!

Will this mod work for a dv6-3250us? runs SP55299. any confirmed success stories?


UPDATE: Just tried it, and my dv6-3250us is now running Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230. On start up, it still shows the error message that an unauthorized wireless card is installed (Error 72), but it's more of a flash. In addition, bluetooth isn't working and I already went through the driver updates, any ideas?

I am pretty much at the end of the road with this bloody HP laptop (never buying HP again!!). It's a DV6-3079TX with a bad attitude towards a new WIFI card.

If it wouldn't be too much hassle, I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction to correctly modify this BIOS to skip the whitelist check?
