Hello, i have a hp 3500 pro and i want to upgrade to a xeon e3 1230v2, in teory the h61 chipset has support for the xeon, my pc its currently using a i3 2130 and the last bios (v8.19), the motherboard is the foxconn 2ABF 3.10

thanks for responding me, when i put the e3-1230v2 and i turn it on, the pc just won't boot up, and nothing show up in the screen

its a amd firepro v3900, planning to change it, also the page says that was "validated" in the bios 8.14, but i have the 8.19, so that means that i have to downgrade the bios.....is there a way to downgrade it without the programer? also again, thanks for responding.

well, when i buyed it, the man who sold it to me tested it and worked fine, i think its just the bios thing, i been looking for a way to "downgrade" the bios without using the programer but din't find anything that helps so, i guess theres no more options......

i had to learn that the hard way, i din't notice all that time that i had the bios battery still on the board, just i took it off, put the xeon, and worked fine, im dumb, i also notice that the xeon its working on 3.60 ghz somehow despite this board cant hold overclock
