Thread creator was use SPI hardware programer to backup bios directly from bios chip ,so he doesn't need consider any flashing problem when he re-write bios.

But i think there is write protected in official bios  , i can't process it , sorry .

It's ok, genius239.  Thank you for your reply anyway.  I followed a tutorial online and was able to dump my ROMs from the latest original Lenovo .fd file and edit the logos.  But now, how to I make a new .fd file with the changes that I made?  The tutorial doesn't cover that.

Hi genius239. My wife has a Lenovo Xiaoxin 13 pro 2019, which has an identical bios as IdeaPad S540. There are two logo files in the official BIOS update. The Xiaoxin version displays the carton logo with Chinese "xiaoxin". Though I don't have an S540, it's safe to assume that it will display the other logo.
My first thought was to replace the logos in the bios file, but the Insyde tool warns that the bios file is signed so I choose not to proceed.

Do you know how to replace a logo in a signed Insyde BIOS? Thank you very much!
